WEEK 1
Meditation: Setting Your Intention
* Attempt to do this work, this week at least once before our Wednesday session. Another small tip, I like to have my journal near by so that after I have finished my meditation I can record how I am feeling and any inspiration that may be waiting to express itself in that moment.
WEEK 2
Meditation: Finding Your Inner Light
Sequence: Backbends
* This week practice both the meditation and sequence. Explore the meditation at the end of the sequence instead of before the sequence. If you are working with a journal have it near and take notes on how you feel after you do the work and meditation before and after the sequence. How do you feel when you do both versus doing one or the other (meditation vs. sequence).
WEEK 3
Meditation: Allow Your Inner Light To Shine
Sequence: Backbends (Upward Facing Dog - Urdhva Mukha Svanasana)
* This week's practice is to dig a bit deeper into your meditation practice. You can use the Backbends sequence (in week 2) to help prepare you for the meditation. Attempt to mediate at the same time of the day for 3-consecutive days and in the same space/place or area. Creating a space or area (it could be as simple as where you place yourself in your dwelling) where you come to sit for meditation should remind you of your intention (how you want to show up in life) and embodies the type of space you want to hold for yourself, in your relationships and in your community. Allow the space a to set a tone that encourages your willingness to do this challenging but vital work in order to reduce stress, increase clarity and compassion in your every day life. What does that space feel like even look like? Imagine this as a physical place that visually, tactically and emotionally represent your intention. You don't need to buy anything but consider bringing objects, pictures or even essential scents that assist you in feeling calm. If you are working with a journal have it near and take notes on how you chose the time, place and objects of clarification.

Sequence: Backbends (Full Wheel - Urdhva Dhanurasana)
